Download controls and selection
- On-image download icons for supported photos and videos, including direct MP4 renditions when available.
- An on-page carousel chooser with explicit select-all and filenames that preserve the order of available items.
- Current Story and Highlight controls that match the active viewer item and respect Instagram’s View story gate.
Profile downloads and progress
- A profile Download menu for Download all images and Download all Highlights. Image batches skip videos; Highlight batches include available photos and direct videos.
- Saved/found progress, partial-result notices and Stop controls. Paused runs offer Resume and Skip item; unfinished runs can be recovered from the profile menu after a refresh.
- Native Chrome downloads that continue after closing the carousel chooser or settings page, with queue recovery, duplicate-click protection and clearer access or rate-limit errors.
Already had Instagram open?
Refresh each existing Instagram tab after installation or an update so the latest controls can run. If download controls do not appear, reopen the Instagram tab and try again.
Media availability depends on Instagram, your session and the current page. Batches may be partial; videos need an available direct MP4 rendition. Normal Story viewing is recorded, and the extension does not bypass login, privacy settings or rate limits.
